H. 'Compost' (Z. G. Benson, 1972) 3 ½”, ML, 30”, SEV, lemon yellow self Snowball x (Thumbelina x Melon Balls) - W. D. Everett, Lake Jackson, Texas, told the story that this daylily was named H. 'Compost' because a visitor to Z. G. Benson's garden, Wichita Falls, Texas, went on and on about how beautiful this daylily was. Mr. Benson told this person it belonged on the compost pile. It was the winner of the 1973 Malcolm Collie Award.

H. 'Dallas Sweet Sixteen' (Dan Hansen, 2016) MRe, 40”, 6 1/2”,M, EV, wine with thick white to gold edge, watermark, triangular lemon throat - Named by Dan for the 2016 Region 6 Fall Symposium. Each attendee received a plant.

H. 'Daroma' (David Flesh, 1976) 5”, EM, 34”, SEV, tetraploid, coppery red with brown maroon eyezone and lime green throat (Brilliant Glow x Molten Magma) - named for David and Florence's three grandsons, David, Robert, and Mark.

H. 'David's Choice' (Elsie Spalding-Diane Hidalgo, 1991) 3 ½", E, 21", EV, light peach and yellow with rose halo above yellow throat - Diane's husband, David, chose this daylily for registration.
