Bridey Greeson was born January 8, 1959, in Victoria, Texas, to Robert Parke & Marie Dunn. On November 27, 1985, Bridey and Milton S. Greeson were married in Refugio, Texas.

Her second home was Dallas where she graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor's of Business Management with specialization in Finance. She served as President, Treasurer, and Fundraising Chairman for the Methodist Day School, Victoria Regional Museum Association, Victoria Preservation, Inc., and as Finance and Development Chairman for Nazareth Academy.

She was ranked in the top ten in the world for non-professional cutting horse riders in 1987.

Her passion for gardening began as a grade school student having grown unusual ferns and houseplants. In 1992, she bought Bill Munson's book on daylilies at a Houston nursery and was amazed by the variety of color. Within months, her interest became an obsession as garden beds became larger, wider and full of daylilies. While attending the Mid-Winter Symposium in Tennessee, she met Kay Day and David & Betty Burton. They encouraged her to become involved in Region 6, which she did and she also joined American Hemerocallis Society in 1992.

She served as a member of the American Hemerocallis Society Awards and Honors Committee and served two terms on the American Hemerocallis Society Financial Committee.

In 1996-97, Bridey was Mail Auction Chair for the Region 6 Mail-in Auction for support of the Region 6 Newsletter. She served two terms as Region 6 RVP from 2002-05. Bridey chaired the auctions for the 2004-06 Region 6 Meetings and was largely responsible for garnering support for the Region 6 Newsletter.

Bridey served as the 1998-99 Region 6 Youth Liaison and 2006-07 Region 6 Garden Judges Liaison. She is also a Garden Judges Instructor.

In 2007, Bridey was honored as recipient of the American Hemerocallis Society Region 6 Service Award for her years of service to Region 6 and American Hemerocallis Society.
