Henry's best known and most popular cultivar is Hemerocallis 'Bright Eyed' (1985). This daylily grows well all over Region 6 and is a very good performing plant.
Mentions of the Henry & Etha Crowell garden in Bridge City, Texas, can be found in the Region 6 Newsletters dating 1976-1993. The Gulf Coast Daylily Society members toured the garden on their annual club garden tours for many years.
