Annie T. Giles Award
The Annie T. Giles Award is presented at the Region 6 Meeting for the best seedling hybridized by a
member of the host club.
The original award was a traveling award and was a plate, hand-painted by Annie T. Giles in 1959. The plate was retired in 1993 (presented to that year's winner, Nell Shimek) and was replaced by a medallion to be awarded to the winner each year.
